Paris Cafe
Repositioning a 7-year-old cafe for a more premium customer.

Overview
Paris Cafe had already been operating in Abu Dhabi for approximately seven years. The business had customers, experience and an established operation.
But the brand around it had not evolved at the same pace. Its visual identity, menu, social presence and overall customer experience still communicated more like a traditional cafeteria than the premium cafe the owner wanted to build.
Dibolky was brought in to help change that — not simply through a new logo, but by rethinking the entire experience around the brand.

Following months
New experience
Menu, visual identity, content and physical touchpoints come together.
Present
Growing demand
Seasonal campaigns and ongoing content continue to build the new position.
01The Challenge
The business had grown. The brand had not.
Paris Cafe had built its business around a broad menu and familiar Kerala-style food. Over time, it was doing more, offering more and communicating more, without necessarily creating stronger perception or better margins.
The owner wanted to attract a higher-value audience, improve profitability and create a more distinctive experience.
The question was not how can we add more? It was what should we remove, refine and improve?
02The Strategy
Less complexity. More value.
Our approach began with repositioning Paris Cafe around a more refined European-Kerala fusion experience. Rather than competing as another traditional cafeteria, the brand needed a clearer reason for people to choose it.
Simplify the business
Reduce unnecessary menu complexity and focus on items with quality, consistency and margin.
Upgrade perception
Create a more premium visual and physical experience across every touchpoint.
Create demand
Use food content, seasonal campaigns and performance marketing to drive interest and orders.
03Rebuilding the Brand Experience
Every touchpoint needed to tell the same story.
The transformation extended across almost every part of the customer experience — from positioning, logo, palette and typography through menus, packaging, signage, interiors, uniforms, photography, video, website and social media.
The objective was to make Paris Cafe feel consistent whether someone encountered it through Instagram, packaging, the menu, the website or the physical cafe.
A Fresh Brand World
A visual identity built to make people pause.
The new system gave Paris Cafe a warm, playful and distinctive way to present its drinks, food and moments.

04Before → After
From cafeteria perception to a more considered cafe experience.
The new proposition focused the menu, elevated the identity and built a structured digital presence around photography, video and campaigns. The result was a more aesthetic cafe experience aimed at a stronger customer segment.
The change in experience
- Stage 01
Broad
A traditional menu with limited differentiation.
- Stage 02
Focused
A European-Kerala fusion proposition with clearer value.
- Stage 03
Consistent
A premium system across physical and digital touchpoints.
- Stage 04
Desired
A distinctive cafe experience that attracts a higher-value customer.
05More Than Visual Rebranding
The transformation went inside the business.
One of the most important decisions was reducing menu complexity. More items do not automatically mean more revenue: a larger menu can mean more ingredients, more wastage, more operational pressure and less consistency.
We worked with the owner to simplify and standardize the offering, focusing on products that made sense commercially and fitted the new positioning.
Music, uniforms, packaging, signage, interiors and communication were aligned to make the repositioning feel operational rather than cosmetic.
06Building Signature Products
Giving customers something to remember.
As the new positioning developed, we began highlighting products that could become recognizable parts of the Paris Cafe experience.
One example was the cafe’s signature basil pasta. Rather than treating it as another menu item, we developed content and campaigns around it to build recognition, repeat interest and a stronger food identity.
Food & Campaign Production
Made to be noticed, then remembered.
A selection of food, product and campaign films developed for the Paris Cafe brand world.
07The Iftar Campaign
Organic content translated into real demand.
Seasonal campaigns became another important part of the strategy. For Iftar, Paris Cafe introduced dedicated food boxes supported by organic digital content.
The campaign generated substantial order volume without relying primarily on paid media — demonstrating the value of a stronger brand presence, timely content and a clear product offer.
08The Perception Shift
People began experiencing Paris Cafe differently.
Customers began engaging differently with the environment. More guests started photographing the cafe and sharing their experience. The business began attracting a more premium customer segment, digital engagement strengthened and the owner gained greater confidence in how the brand was presented.
The overall perception began moving away from a traditional cafeteria toward a more distinctive contemporary cafe experience.
Same business. Clearer identity. Better experience. Stronger positioning.
